You are invited to join us during the week of August 21 – 26, 2021 for our annual Region 9 Leadership Conference at The Grand Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey. We will continue expanded invitations beyond Presidents and Chairpersons. If you wish to invite other members of your Executive Board or Bargaining Committee, you are welcome to, at your discretion. Final approval of extended invitations will be at the Regional Director’s discretion.

Each Local Union is responsible for payment of their delegate’s room, lost time, and transportation. To register for the conference, please use the following website (Online Registration – deadline is July 6)

 Hotel reservations can only be made through The Grand Hotel and there are a limited number of efficiencies, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. This year’s room rate is $406.00++ per night (total with taxes is $465.38), single or double occupancy, with an additional per person charge for more than 2 people. Please send your check made payable to “The Grand Hotel” along with completed Request for Reservation Form directly to The Grand Hotel, 1045 Beach Avenue, Cape May, New Jersey 08204, Attention: Region 9 UAW Reservations, no later than July 6, 2022.

Check in time is after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21st . Registration will be at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, with the opening session at 7:00 p.m. The conference will conclude mid-afternoon on Thursday, August 25th. A registration fee of $350/per delegate is required to help cover the cost of the conference. Local unions must pay the registration fee through LUIS by going to the Conference Menu > Region 9 > Submit payment, no later than July 6, 2022. **If you are NOT on LUIS, please send check payable to “UAW Region 9”, do not send your payment in an envelope with your per capita or other items going to the Region**
