More than 3,600 Mack Truck hourly workers  went on strike beginning 11:59pm on October 12, 2019 seeking fair pay and benefits. Kevin Fronheiser, Union Rep out of Mack Trucks LU 677 in Allentown, Pa., walked the lines and was there to give support and show Solidarity  with his Brothers and Sisters even as a very important event was taking place.  Kevin  and Liz's daughter was getting married on Saturday, Oct 19, 2019 and that did not stop Kevin, his family or the Bride and Groom from including their UAW Union family and standing in Solidarity!

Detroit  ̶  UAW Aramark members ratified the 2019 Collective Bargaining Agreement this evening.

With ratification of the contract, the UAW members will begin to report to work as instructed by Aramark. Aramark workers had suspended their strike pending ratification.

The Aramark ratified contract includes significant gains in job security, wages, and health care benefits.

With this latest comprehensive proposal, if GM accepts and agrees to this group of proposals, we will have a Tentative Agreement.
