The 37th Constitutional Convention was held at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Mi with registration beginning on Sunday, June 10, 2018 and opening session on Monday, June 11-14, 2018.

Register for the 2019 Financial Officers' Conference

The UAW Financial Officers’ Conference will be held Sunday, March 24 through Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel in Orlando, Florida. This conference is for local union presidents, financial secretaries/treasurers, trustees and recording secretaries.

Across our union, thousands of UAW members participate in one or more local union standing committees. They are rewarded by a feeling of accomplishment, working with their co-workers on meaningful projects, and “being the change” they want to see for working people. But we need many more activists at the table to help.

Standing Committees

There’s a direct relationship between the ballot box and the bread box, and what the union fights for and wins at the bargaining table can be taken away in the legislative halls.
