TCPL PSA Bargaining Update: Day 18 - TENTATIVE AGREEMENT

Management: LK, PJ, KW
Management offered 2.75% retro, 2.75%, 2.75% wage increase with a $500 stipend, removed language concerning the resolved grievance #25, and revised language to clarify who is eligible for retroactive pay, stipend eligibility, longevity increases, and benefit time increases.
Labor returned 3.25% retro, 3.25%, 3.25% with a $1500 stipend. Labor modified language concerning 9A payouts for retirees, medical leave, etc. Labor agreed to changes on 7) Timecards, with minor edits. Both parties agreed to drop PERB charges related to Summer 2024 Improper Bargaining. Labor and Management worked on language to resolve 2 different sections of 9A to increase clarity for both parties.
After caucusing, Labor proposed 3% retro, 3%, 3% with a $1000 stipend, which was rejected. Labor verbally suggested 3%, $750, which was rejected. Labor verbally suggested 3%, $600. Management formally countered with 3% retro, 3%, 3%, with a $600 stipend, which was accepted by Labor. Labor and Management made multiple grammatical revisions to 9-A for clarity. All changes in this paragraph were TA'd.
This concludes all open/non-TA'd bargaining at this time.
Labor agreed to inform management when a vote by the membership has been concluded.
