   The regular monthly meeting of the Retirees’ Chapter of Local 686 UAW  is canceled for the months of June, July and August, 2019 and will resume on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. and bingo held at 1:00 p.m. at the UAW Hall, 524 Walnut Street, Lockport, NY.  We will have representatives speak from the UAW Retiree Medical Trust, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medco.

The 2019 Special Bargaining Convention was held on March 11th -13th, 2019 at Cobo Hall in Detroit, MI.

Collective bargaining is the process in which a group of workers comes together and negotiates the terms of their contracts with one voice. Making their demands, together. Making a promise that whatever is offered to one will be rejected unless it is offered to all.
