ONAWAY, MI – In the first week of September, 176 members assembled in northern Michigan at the Walter and May Reuther UAW Family Education Center for the 2025 Contract Enforcement Boot Camp. Delegates came to this institute to sharpen their skills as grievance handlers.

Retires' Chapter of Local 686 UAW Summer Meeting Information

The regular monthly meeting of the Retirees' Chapter of Local 686 UAW is canceled for the months of June, July and August for summer break.  The Retirees' picnic will be held August 3, 2025.  The picnic is for dues paying members only.

Lastly, I’m going to discuss what is happening in the auto industry and why our union is hellbent on ending the free trade disaster of the last thirty years.
