Final TCPL SSA Bargaining Update

Greetings, UAW Comrades!

We met with Library Management today May 13th, from 9am-3pm at the Library. 

Management Representatives: Emerson Demeester-Lane (Director), Kathy Weinberg (Library Board of Trustees) 

Association Representatives: Mitchell Hall, Sam MacQueen, Shelby Buche, John Tavares (Local 2300 President), Chauncey Bennett (Local 2300 1st Vice President), Lonnie Everett (Region 9 Servicing Representative) 

With the TA'ing of the Discharge and Discipline proposal and the MOU on retro pay, I am pleased to report that the negotiation for our contract is concluded. A date will be set soon for SSA membership to vote to approve the contract. It will be on an upcoming Tuesday and Thursday to allow all members to vote.  

Copies for these documents will follow along with the entirety of the contract for your review.
