UAW Local 2300 is looking for members interested in getting involved with our CAP Committee (Community Action Program). CAP is the political and legislative arm of the UAW. It gives members a voice in the issues and elections that directly impact working people, our contracts, our jobs, and our communities.

We're also looking for volunteers to help with our member-to-member efforts for Josh Riley. Josh didn't just say he supported us during our strike — he stood on the picket line with us multiple times. It wasn't a one-time stop for a photo op. He kept showing up and standing with our members because he believes in what we were fighting for.

Now we're asking members who are willing to help support someone who showed up for us. There are plenty of ways to get involved — texting, making phone calls, or going door-to-door and talking with fellow UAW members.

You don't need any experience, and you don't have to commit a ton of time. Even a couple hours helps.

If you're interested in joining CAP, helping with the Riley campaign, or just want to learn more, email Jdt226@cornell.edu
