A Message From President Tavares

Brothers and Sisters,

I have temporarily accepted a position with UAW Region 9 CAP as Election Relief Staff through November.

While I will retain my title as President of Local 2300, Chauncey will be handling the day-to-day operations of the Local during this time. I’m not disappearing—I’ll still be at the union office weekly and will remain involved and available as needed.

This is a temporary assignment, and I’ll return to my normal role and responsibilities when it concludes in November.
