Bolton Point First Bargaining Update

Bolton Point

Today we started negotiations with the Southern Cayuga Lake Intermunicipal Water Commission (Bolton Point Water) to renew our contract.

We submitted our entire non-economic package. We had proposals to increase Flexible Working Hours, changing the schedule to 7-3 for Distribution and Electrical Mechanical Technicians, and language on Break Time locations and expectations.

We also submitted three economic proposals for increasing vacation time accruals, increasing clothing and shoe allowances, and an increase in cell phone reimbursements.

The company responded with only one formal counter on vacation time accruals.

Our next negotiation date is October 1st!
