UAW/TCAT Bargaining Update

Today we made a counter-proposal which more than halved the difference between our last proposal and TCAT’s previous offer. Management re-iterated that they considered their previous offer their “Last, Best, and Final” but would review what the bargaining committee proposed today. They did come in and had several questions about the counter.

While we are still bargaining, we are planning for the possibility of a strike. We are forming a strike committee and developing strike assignments.

We are also continuing our actions to inform the community about the issues our members are facing and support our bargaining team as we continue to negotiate for what our membership needs to continue sustainably serving the community we love.
