Greetings,
The Health and Safety Department is pleased to announce that we will be offering a second virtual OSHA 30-hour General Industry Hazard Recognition Training October 25-29, 2021. The April 19, 2021 class was full to capacity and unable to accommodate all inquiries.

This training opportunity will provide newer Health and Safety Representatives, Health and Safety Committee members, as well as interested Regional and Local Union Representatives an OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) Certified Training Program in a virtual delivery format. Some of the topics covered include COVID-19 Issues, Introduction to OSHA, Managing Safety and Health, Walking and Working Surfaces, Emergency Action Plans, Electrical Safety, PPE, Hazard Communication, Machine Guarding, Ergonomics, Fall Protection, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Permit-Required Confined Spaces and more. Upon successful completion of the training participants will be issued an OSHA 30-hour card.

A computer with internet capability is required in order to participate in this virtual training.
This session is limited to 40 participants.
